Quality Systems AnalystTracking Code4427-987Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryPerforms analysis and evaluates user requirements, problems, etc. on major system projects.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential functions)

Develops Program Software Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans and documents quality activities in compliance with S3I processes and procedures.

Implements system and software quality programs per existing quality processes and procedures, and using ISO 9000-3 as a reference.

Supports the Army Materiel Release Process, as documented in Army Regulation 700-142, Type Classification, Materiel Release, Fielding, and Transfer; supports S3I’s role in software materiel release determinations.

Supports Program SQA’s material release activities, including suitability and supportability assessments, by providing needed project level software data. Responsible for performing analysis on major system project problems Responsible for reviewing user requirements and for providing direction in identifying problems and possible solutions Responsible for providing analytical support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of complex systems Responsible for defining system objectives and for preparing system design specifications that fit user's needs Formulates logical statements of user requirements and develops solutions Responsible for implementing system design specifications Responsible for working with system users to define problem areas, data availability, report requirements, etc. May define input and output file specifications including file organization May be responsible for defining controls, conversion procedures, and system implementation plans. May be responsible for creating test plans and procedures. May assist in analyzing requirements to ensure testability.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering related field, or the equivalent experience Minimum of eight years of software quality, testing, or development experience Ability to qualify for security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Active Security clearance

Familiarity with DOOR and Serena Dimensions
