With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.The Manufacturing Project Leadwill support the manufacturing management team responsible for producing prototype and low-volume production hardware for the aerospace and defense industries. The candidate must have experience in project activities related to mechanical manufacturing. The candidate have demonstrated ability to follow prescribed procedures and to manage time to meet deadlines with minimal oversight. Candidate will be required to routinely interact with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc., and must represent the company’s in a professional manner at all times.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading the welding, fabrication, assembly and integration teams

Compiling project status reports

Coordinating project schedules

Engaging in project meetings

Coordinating and leading proposal efforts

Identifying and resolving project issues as they arise

Coordinating project activities and ensuring all project phases are documented appropriately

IND2Basic QualificationsCandidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.Candidate must have at least (5) five years of experience in technical or business activities.Candidate must have demonstrated experience writing routine reports and correspondence.Candidate must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting drawings/documents such as operating instructions, and procedures.Candidate must demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Other QualificationsPreference shown to candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project

Costpoint, Agile PLM, and Epicor ERP
