We are looking for an ambitious Logistics Engineer to join the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) team.AS A Logistics Engineer you will:- Support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program by sustaining THAAD fielded hardware from the Huntsville, AL THAAD Logistics Operations Center.- Support remote maintenance and supply support. You will monitor and report daily operations, optimization, supply-chain-management and administration functions in support of THAAD Fielded Army Batteries and monitor levels of critical parts; report inventory levels to senior managers.- Conduct research as required.- Will have well-rounded strengths and knowledge of Government Furnished Equipment, including M1120 HEMTTs, LHS Systems, Hydraulics, FMTV, and Peculiar Support Equipment.Additionally, this position may require the individual to successfully qualify as a member of a missile transport team and a Missile Surveillance test team. The Project Engineering Associate Manager will support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program, specifically in Post Production.ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:- Coordinate Engineering reach-back support for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) personnel.- Maintain duty logs and telephone/e-mail contact rosters for key contractor and government personnel.- Notify program leadership of all equipment failures and provide timely status of associated equipment repair actions.- Gather, maintain, and store sustainment data in support of sustainment performance metrics.- Assist in analyzing collected sustainment data to enable development of performance metrics.- Receive and post THAAD system data to classified or unclassified Automated Information Systems (AISs) for analysis by component engineering personnel.- Coordinate and track reviews of system data by engineers and provide feedback to THAAD Program Office (TPO) for further dissemination to the Warfighter.- Submit part requests and coordinate Global Supply Chain nodes for requisition.- Provide, as necessary, 24/7 TLOC support to THAAD batteriesTo promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin cultivates an inclusive work environment that inspires differences and big-picture thinking.Our employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually.
