DescriptionSAIC has an immediate need for a Logistics Analyst to support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Aviation & Missile Center Systems Simulation Software & Integration (S3I) Directorate.SAIC develops and integrates advanced technologies during the entire life cycle of fielded Army aviation and missile systems such as air and ballistic missile defense, fire support, close combat, manned and unmanned aviation, command, control and communications; interoperability, intelligence/surveillance, and automatic test equipment.Job Description: The candidate will be responsible to oversee an inventory of all program property. This property includes all equipment, lab supplies, and general operating supplies. Oversee the shipping, receiving, and storage of all program related items. The candidate will communicate with Purchasing Department to establish and maintain inventory levels for all equipment and supplies. The candidate will also be tasked with preparing DoD documents and accurate shipping receiving/disbursement.QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience [4+ years of experience in lieu of degree].Required Skills :Knowledge of DoD logistics support policies and procedures.Fullunderstanding of the DoD logistics support organization.Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans.Must be self-motivated, organized and capable of working independently or as part of a team, in supporting Government clients.Experience with work orders, vendor issues and material documentation.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Required Clearance:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.REQNUMBER: 447286SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation’s most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
