United States of America - Alabama, HuntsvilleJob SummaryAECOM is seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance II - TEISP in support of the Army Aviation and Missile Support Command, Field Support Directorate, Fleet and Logistical Support Directorate (FLSD), Huntsville Alabama.Incumbent will possess expert knowledge of operation, capabilities and limitations of a wide range of electronic test equipment and systems, such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, avionics test sets, etc. Sound ethodologies, concepts and practices to troubleshoot complex electronic test equipment to component level, including the use of automatic test equipment.Other Responsibilities:Safety - AECOM enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. As appropriate, each employee is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams.Quality - Quality is the foundation for the management of our business and the keystone to our goal of customer satisfaction. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Minimum five (5) years actual and recent experience required.

Will be required to performing maintenance on the Avenger system and its components.

Must be able to determine malfunctions in electronics, electrical and assemblies, module and circuit elements.

Must be able to maintain electro-optical fire control components, must have a knowledge of repairing and maintaining missile mounts, platforms and launch mechanisms.

Ability to Inspect, test and adjust components, plus remove and replace defective line units.

Must understands schematics, drawings and wiring diagrams.

Must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to grasp the concept quickly.

Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Position will require the ability to pass a pre-employment drug-screen and a government background check.

Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
