DescriptionAssist the Government in determining solutions, counter-measures, or mitigating controls for security requirements for all GMD information systems including ground support, fire control, interceptor, and test design and execution throughout system development, testing, fielding, and sustainment. Assist the Government in system security processes and requirements development, testing, technical analysis of cyber operations, and intrusion detection policy development. Provides course of action recommendations and design solutions to Program Managers, Authorizing Officers, and GMD Program Director. Integrate cybersecurity activities for success by using a distributed, standards-based, risk management approach to ensure the integrity and protection of GMD assets. Provide support to Site Leads in Alaska, Colorado, and California for daily execution, coordination, and communication. Assist in test objective development on all cyber testing within the applicable cyber-responsible divisions. Analyze software for risks and reports through Risk Management Framework tools Supports systems security analysis throughout the GMD lifecycle and aligns documentation with controls. Coordinates, prepares, attends, and or presents numerous recurring and one-time conferences, classes, or briefings, to include power point presentations, daily/weekly status support and essential updates. Assists in systems security baseline development, configuration control, vulnerability identification, and threat and intelligence analysis; monitors contractor performance metrics Responsible for planning, developing executing, and maintaining Computer Network Defense (CND) products, tools, and procedures that mitigate vulnerabilities and that protect the loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability to assigned MDA networks and weapons systems and information. Leverage expertise and resources from other MDA program elements to plan, resource, and execute requirements for MDA networks and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) networks and systems Leads or assists in: specialized planning and execution of systems security development, relevant technology and process development, security testing, and intrusion detection policy development. Plan, organize, schedule, direct, and coordinate special studies, projects, and related actions to assure compliance with command objectives, approved resources, milestone/schedule feasibility and user requirements. Coordinate, prepare, attend, and/or present a myriad of recurring and one-time conferences, classes, or briefings, to include power point presentations, weekly status support and key directed operational updates.Monitors performance metrics and reports findings through approved cost and schedule procedures.This position requires an active Secret clearanceQualificationsBS degree in Engineering or related technical field with 10+ years of related professional experience. An MS degree may be used in combination with 8 years of directly related experience.
