Cost Analyst I (PA I-II)Tracking Code3956-987Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryAnalyzes program activities such as acquisition program planning, proposal pricing, financial management, cost analysis and other tasks related to government contracts.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential functions)Analyzes, evaluates, and assists in development and maintenance of program budget
Monitors costs incurred, program performance, and provides status information
Assists in the development of quotes and ROMs
Creates employee individual work authorizations
Enters actual hours and travel into database
Creates funding documents for subcontractors Plans, schedules, and executes special activities as required Assists in preparation and analysis of specific reports as required May serve as a liaison between corporate departments, subcontractors, consultants, and others

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience Two to four years work related experience required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Extreme attention to detail, and the ability to clearly report financial findings and information to management in a concise, unbiased manner is required Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power Point
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret Security Clearance
Prior experience with Government/Defense Contractor is a plus
Direct knowledge and experience with the financial requirements of a Time and Material Task Order, preferably an AMCOM EXPRESS Task Order
Prior experience with Deltek CostPoint, Cognos, and Deltek Time and Expense
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience with procurement and purchasing
Prior experience producing and analyzing financial reports
