We have an immediate need for an Applications Programmer Anlayst, Senior to support an important government customer in Huntsville, Al.Join us by applying at http://jobs-phacil.icims.comDaily Job Responsibilities:This position requires in-depth knowledge of multiple Microsoft technologies in a Windows Environment. The Applications Programmer will be working alongside Web Developers (Programmers), SharePoint professionals and Graphic Designers. A candidate should have a thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems, have some understanding of system architectures, design, development, and implementation, including interaction between databases and applications, such as SharePoint and custom web sites.The Applications Programmer is expected to directly interface with team members and end users in an expedient and calm manner to solve a wide variety of unexpected issues and answer questions in a high tempo environment. Personnel are expected to have the ability to clearly articulate, provide, and document resolutions/referrals for each task or action taken.Prior SharePoint Administration/Site Collection Administrator experience is desired. A demonstrated, history in configuring, maintaining, and repairing MS Windows operating systems with SharePoint end user experience is acceptable. Prior programming experience for HTML/web-based projects using JavaScript/jQuery/REST/SPServices is desired.Required Skills:

Current IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE)

The desire to research and learn is critical

Degree Required/Equivalent Experience w/o degree:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent of at least 2 to 4 years of related work experience with Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 to 10 years of total work experience.

Preferred Skills:

SharePoint Site Collection Administrator experience

An understanding of HTML and CSS

Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Access, MS InfoPath Designer, MS Outlook, SharePoint Designer

An understanding of JavaScript/jQuery/REST/SPServices

Active Secret Clearance (or higher)

Travel Requirement: None at this time but could be no more than 15%Additional Information:Work is performed on government site. Employees will work in close proximity with Government personnel. Core work hours are 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday except holidays.
