Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a Logistics Technical Writer / Editor in the development of major engineering documents, technical publications, and reports for software intensive air defense command and control system.Candidate will gather, consolidate, and integrate numerous technical and administrative input from staff, professional, and technical personnel including software developers, engineers, technicians, and management analysts. Candidate will provide expert advice on the technical writing program, recommending major changes to the technical publications program. Candidate will work in a collaborative environment, including other programs, institutions, or agencies (Government, DoD, USA, Industry, Academia), to identify and implement new information applicable to specific technical publications, as needed. Candidate will serve as a reviewer for all manuscripts/technical publications prepared within the organization. Basic Qualifications-A minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required. Candidate should have a minimum DAU Acquisition Logistics Level 1 Certification.-Candidate must have a general knowledge of and 1-5 yrs of experience with Army Air Defense Systems and command and control systems. Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite and JIRA collaboration software is a plus-Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.Security RequirementsCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.Dynetics is an equal opportunity employer M/F/DISABLED/VET
