Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking Access Control Technicians to provide visual security, access registration perimeter site observation and building escort service for our client at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:Access Control Technician (Second and Third Shift)Huntsville, AL2018-8783
Ensure security of government employees and property
Individual and vehicular access control for 2 lift gates
Visitor processing
External visual checks; external and internal
Camera/alarm monitoring
Use x-ray equipment including operating various types of x-ray equipment/ scanning packages
Operate magnetometer equipment
Use hand held metal detecting equipment
Respond to incidents and writing incidents reports
Other responsibilities may include
coordinating security with other law enforcement agencies and civilian emergency response units,
badging of incoming visitors and students,
surveillance and monitoring of all other site areas.
Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation with the Department of Homeland Security and will require an Active Secret Clearance
Pre-employment and periodic drug testing will be required
Certified to administer CPR/First Aid/AED Fluent in English, both written and oral
Security, military or law enforcement background in required (preferably military)
Education & Experience:
Required – High School Diploma
