We are looking to add on to our team! Our small used car dealership is looking for a reliable, efficient, self-motivated, professional and organized individual with a positive attitude to join us. The right candidate should not be afraid to get their hands dirty, should have some basic automotive knowledge, and be willing to learn. Interested candidate should be available to work 8 hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 4 hours on Saturday for a total of 30 hours a week. Starting pay is $8/hr with room for performance based growth.
Job Duties Includes:
Conditions used cars including daily start ups, battery maintenance etc
Ensures that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is identified and performed according to dealership standards including car cleaning.
Develop an understanding of ever changing inventory to become an authority on available vehicles.
Manage required paperwork for customers and vehicle inventory
Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
Completes paperwork accompanying vehicle sales and financing
Addresses customer concerns.
Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
Participates in required training
Answers phone professionally
Works with customers to resolve their questions or concerns
Maintains and updates customer information as necessary
Calmly attempts to resolve and de-escalate issues or refer them to superior when necessary
Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS:
Must have PC and Internet Skills
Bilingual is a plus
Retail sales experience or customer service experience a plus
Should have good driving record
Must past drug testing (Drug free environment)
Automotive Knowledge a plus
Previous dealership experience is a huge plus
Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the workday
Outgoing with a friendly personality
Have quality customer service skills
Possess strong communication skills
Must have a clean & valid drivers license
