Job Description:
Self-motivated, well-organized, dependable, detail-oriented individual with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently with flexibility in an environment where priorities can change rapidly
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform bookkeeping and payroll duties including staff & client payrolls, bank deposits & reconciliations, accounts payable and other client payments
Prepares payroll for staff and clients
Answer phone and in-person inquiries
Maintain bookkeeping files
Perform clerical and other related duties as required
Prepare mandatory remittances of payroll taxes.
Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bookkeeping or Accounting experience required
Advanced clerical and administrative skills
Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Quickbooks, PowerPoint, databases
Working Environment:
Must be available to work 8AM to 5PM, Monday - Friday in a tobacco free environment
Job Type: Full Time
Required Education: High School Graduate; some college helpful
