Heil Environmental in Fort Payne, Alabama is looking to fill the position of an Engineering Technician immediately! Full benefits available on your first day of employment!
The Engineering Technician will perform daily maintenance of tooling on the lines, fabricate, assemble, proof, and install new tooling. Investigate tooling related NCRs and correct as necessary. Coordinate ECO change over processes with production lines and work with line supervisors and coordinators to implement on the production line. Participate in other manufacturing engineering projects as required.
Requirements:
1. Must have the ability to analyze data and implement solutions into the production process to alleviate unit defects.
2. Must be able to read and interpret product and tooling drawings, hard copies and Cad viewer images.
3. Must be experienced in welding, cutting, forming, lathe, and milling applications.
4. Have a working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
5. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Must have the ability to provide leadership, make quality decisions, and be a self-starter.
7. Must have good attendance record.
8. Must be able to work on your own initiative and with others as a team player.
High school diploma or GED required. EEO.
