Heil Environmental in Fort Payne, Alabama is looking to fill the position of a Shipping Clerk immediately!
Fulfill orders with forklift or stepladder while processing large amounts of transactions that require a high level of focus to maintain high levels of inventory, location and count accuracy using RFGen. Transfer parts from primary location to shipping dock for packaging. Package orders appropriately. Complete bills of lading or UPS and FedEx shipping paperwork. Load shipments into trailers or containers using forklift. Assist in preparing and planning for inventories. Participate in all physical inventories.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain and control parts inventory.
Drive a forklift and pass certification course.
Computer skills necessary.
Must be able to lift minimum of 40 pounds repetitively.
Accurately complete truck bills of lading.
Efficiently operate UPS and FedEx shipping manifest.
Prepare export paperwork.
Adhere to packaging practices and instructions.
Accurately complete in-house kitting per bill of material.
Basic math skills.
Perform housekeeping duties as necessary to keep work area safe, clean and in good order.
Must be a self-starter with a can do attitude looking to be a team player.
Safe work habits are a must.
High School diploma or GED required.
