Holley Development Corp. is a rapidly expanding Residential and Commercial General Contractor based in the Bonifay area, The Florida Panhandle. We are looking for a Superintendent that can help continue the vision of the company. Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years experience as a superintendent overseeing all aspects of residential and commercial construction planning of projects and reporting to the General Manager.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities. The Superintendent shall be responsible for the efficient and timely coordination of all resources to complete the project within the Project Schedule and Budget while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reads and understands the drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
Visit job site daily.
Develop relationships with customers and subcontractors to improve communication and understand client needs.
Understand project schedules for the purpose of understanding manpower forecasting
Work effectively with facility operation contacts to assure minimal disruption to facility operations and occupants.
Work effectively with the Home Office Project Management Team as relates to project control (scheduling, cost control, quality control, safety, and etc.).
Advise Management Team of potential problems, critical paths, work interference's, schedule and procurement difficulties, etc. Must be able to suggest/take proactive measures to resolve these problems.
Be able to drive the schedule without jeopardizing other key project and safety parameters.
Manage the day-to-day field activities to ensure that project milestones and the overall schedule is met.
Orchestrate a plan from the beginning of construction to completion, including the accurate projection of construction activities.
Must be willing and able to perform record-keeping tasks including, but not limited to: daily reports, developing two-week projections, scheduling updates, and maintaining project logs.
Direct, coordinate and facilitate project progress meetings
Requirements:
Minimum 5 Years Superintendent experience.
Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
This position requires an individual that is confident, energetic, and has leadership skills.
He/She must be able to follow the direction of the project manager and/or the senior project manager.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Strong negotiation skills. Must be able to work well with all project related parties (Project Managers, Owners, Design Professionals, Salespeople, Sub-contractors and Permitting Authorities).
Must exhibit a positive and courteous attitude in all situations.
Must be able to work in a mobile device / laptop environment. Software proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of Buildertrend, a Construction Project Management Software, a plus.
Clean Record and Drug Free. A background check will be conducted
Job Type: Full-time
Salary $40,000 - $65,000 based on experience
