Emfinger Steel is a scrap metal recycling facility looking to hire a metals buyer, an onsite position who will be responsible for guiding customers through the process of selling their scrap metals over the phone and in person, including identifying grades of scrap metal, accurately weighing vehicles and metals, and handling payments.
Applicants should be friendly self-starters who are computer literate and have excellent communication skills. Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a plus. Emfinger Steel will train the successful applicant in the grades of scrap metal and how to use our purchasing software, but we rely on the application to bring a good attitude, eagerness to work, and an attention to detail.
