Wesley Place on Honeysuckle is on a journey to transform the way Long Term Care is provided. We have transitioned into the "household" model which focuses on the decentralizing leadership and decision making from the traditional "office" to the household staff. Each household is led by a clinical leader (RN) and an administrative leader (Household Leader-Quality of Life). The position being offered in this message is for the Household Leader-QoL for one of our households (we have 9).
As a Household Leader, this position functions as the household Social Services designee, the Activities catalyst, and HR designee.
Simply put, along with the Household Leader- Quality of Care, you would be responsible for the atmosphere and satisfaction of the members of your household, residents and associates alike.
A few words that summarize this position are; Exciting, Rewarding, Challenging, Responsible, Progressive, Caring and Creative.
A social services or activities background in long term care is preferred, however, more importantly is attitude, organization and leadership aptitude.
