Automotive Technician - Birmingham, AL
Guaranteed 40hrs/week, Benefits after 30 days, Paid Weekly, 1st Shift!
Our Birmingham facility is looking to add a Automotive Technician to its successful and established team. The Lead Technician will be responsible for timely repair and maintenance of light to medium vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient fleet of vehicles as well as supporting the Fleet Manager in the supervision of employees and garage operations.

Responsibilities:
Shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light to medium duty vehicles
Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles
Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
5+ years' or more experience performing auto maintenance
Must be able to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds
Must provide own hand tools
Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
Intermediate computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
