ABC Supply, the nation's largest distributor of exterior building products, is seeking a motivated, service-oriented professional to enhance its inside sales functions and take its customer service to the next level. In this role, you will assist customers as they purchase the materials they need for a wide variety of roofing, siding, and window/door replacement projects. From the moment you greet customers until their sales have been finalized, you will provide them with superior service and exterior building supply expertise.
Specific duties may include:
Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
Answering telephones and entering sales orders
Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise
Specific qualifications include:
1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Basic computer skills
Positive attitude and team player
