We are a local Fire and Water Restoration company based in Birmingham, AL looking for a full-time (or possibly part-time) estimate writer. The main role for this position will be to write mitigation and packout estimates that will be submitted to an insurance company for approval. If you have Xactimate experience, that's a great plus, but we can definitely teach you if not. It's very similar to medical coding. You just have to learn the software and which codes apply to which service.
We're a 20 year old, family-owned restoration company, and we currently service around 800 new jobs a year. Each of these jobs require from one to three different estimates for the services provided, not including the construction estimates.
