STEEL FABRICATION FOREMAN
Wilson Machine & Welding, Inc., A large Central Alabama Fabrication Company, needs a highly qualified Fabrication Shop Foreman.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE 5 years of VERIFIABLE experience supervising and planning work in a plate and structural job shop
Must be able to read and interpret drawings so work can be planned, and material may be purchased.
Must be familiar with the Metric drawings and be able to make Metric to English conversions.
Must be thoroughly familiar with plate-work including transition development, bending and rolling.
The ability to quote new steel fabrication work is a plus
Familiarity with Machine Shop practice is a plus.
Must have working knowledge of AWS codes.
Must have the ability to analyze and plan multiple projects.
Must have the ability to perform final inspection of fabricated work.
Must be an energetic self-starter and take ownership of your position in the Fabrication Department.
