Full time warehouse position at a seed and feed facility in Birmingham near Trussville/Irondale. Duties may include the following or more. Daily tasks to keep warehouse clean and organized. Operating a forklift safely much of the day. Pull orders as they are needed. Load trucks and customers with supplies. Unload and store deliveries brought to warehouse. Stock shelves. Blend seed as needed. Take inventory counts and alert to low levels. Supervise, help, and maintain part time blending staff in summer.
Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. No weekend work. Must be on time daily.
Candidates with a class B CDL would be ideal to help with occasional deliveries, but not necessary.
Must have reliable transportation, be on time daily, be able to work quickly but safely, be organized and able to work with a team of people, taking orders and relaying needs.
Compensation is hourly plus vacation and sick time after 90 days. Class B CDL candidates compensation can be discussed.
