Purpose:

This position is a critical role in our national operations group. This position will lead and manage site field crews of painters and general laborers. This position will also manage budgets and personnel.

Major Opportunities & Key Accountabilities:

In consultation and partnership with HR and Project Manager will supervise and manage onsite jobs, recruit, hire, train and manage field painting and general laborer crews onsite. This includes managing hours, reporting time to corporate office for payroll, performance evaluation of crew members and paperwork.

In consultation and partnership with Project Manager, Sales and Operations leadership work with clients to ensure quality work is completed on time on budget.

Responsible for the safety of jobs in compliance with state and federal laws, including DOT regulations.

Ensure inspections, maintenance and other related work is completed in a timely fashion to keep equipment safe, compliant with state and federal laws, and that we are tracking assets for best usage across organization.

Nature & Scope:

Up to 100% travel for extended periods of time.

Position will require night shift work at times.

Direct reports include: field painter and general labor crew.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to meet high pressure deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain a professional demeanor while working with crew members.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to understand and follow company policies and procedures, safety program, reporting.

Ability to make decisions aligned with company core values and in an independent manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

Must be motivated and dependable.

5+ years supervisory experience with a general contractor in the commercial industry.

Proficient with Microsoft programs, particularly Outlook and Excel.

Strong organizational skills.

General understanding of construction and break/fix maintenance including flooring, doors, fixtures, finishes and more.
