Maintenance Technician I
Work schedule: Full-time, Monday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week.
Alternating day off during the week. Weekly schedule may change as required.

As a Maintenance Technician I at Ridge Crossings, you play a key role in making our community a great place to live! You will maintain natural environments and landscaping including lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, driveways and sidewalks. As a member of the Maintenance staff you will work directly with the Maintenance Supervisor and the office staff to provide world class service to our residents.
Essential Duties:
Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors in all common areas
Clean glass doors and windows
Pick up and empty trash throughout the building
Clean management offices and models on a daily basis
Assist office staff with preparing packets (newsletters, etc.) to be delivered to residents and assist with posting notices to doors
Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to schedule preventative grounds work and resident service requests
Follow the community preventative maintenance program regularly
Actively participate in all maintenance duties including but not limited to maintenance service request completion and grounds keeping
Communicate need of routine supplies and materials to Maintenance Supervisor
Perform additional duties requested by management
Qualifications:
CPO Certification preferred
Read, understand and comply with all MSDA Sheets on all chemicals used at the property
Lift, push, and pull up to 90 pounds
Safely operate various machinery including but not limited to electric saws, key cutting equipment and golf carts
Stand and/or walk for long periods of time and climb stairs and ladders as necessary
Squat, bend and reach above shoulders
Must be flexible to work after-hours in emergency situations
Maintain a valid Local State Driver's License
Maintain current automobile insurance
