We have a multifaceted operation that includes our restaurant, Saws BBQ Southside, Saws BBQ Southside Catering & Saws Street Kitchen Food Truck. Our food truck travels all around Birmingham, AL serving BBQ at varying locations & events. We enjoy sharing our flawless menu with the most supportive clientele any business owner could ask for. Ideal candidates are team players with positive attitudes who enjoy taking on a task with attention to detail and enjoying the process along the way. We work hard and enjoy our work. This is all a part of giving guests the best possible experience. Our guests are our highest priority.

Currently we are looking to fill the following position(s):
Kitchen Manager, Cooks, Cashiers, Key Hourly Manager
Job duties:
Kitchen Manger/Cooks:
- Set up and break down food prep and hot line areas
- Receive, label, and rotate product
- Follow prep sheets and verbal instructions to prepare items to established standards
- Maintain high standards of clean and sanitized work areas and equipment
- Cook/prepare items efficiently and as directed
Cashiers:
- Set up and break down service and hospitality areas
- Receive, label, and rotate product
- Ensure order accuracy at point of sale and delivery
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor as well as a sense of urgency and solid menu knowledge
- Operate point of sale with fast and accurate cash handling skills
- Maintain high standards of clean and sanitized service areas and equipment
Job requirements:
Previous restaurant experience highly preferred
Ability to communicate with guests and employees using a clear and positive speaking voice. Ability to listen to and understand requests & respond with appropriate action responses.
Cashiers Must be competent with Point of Sale (POS) and have good cash handling skills.
Must have Reliable transportation
Flexible availability
Outstanding time management skills
Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift
Position requires reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping and wiping.
Must be able to multitask, work well in high volume situations and exercise good judgment.
