Saturdays and Sundays 7:30am to 6:00pm. Assist in preparing meals to our Senior Citizens in a Retirement Home (NOT a nursing home), cleaning up afterwards, keeping facility neat and safe.
We are a small (30+ people) community for able-bodied seniors, where we provide meals, laundry, housekeeping, activities, transportation, etc. This job involves assisting the cook who is preparing breakfast and lunch, serving our residents, cleaning up after each meal, and assisting with other requests (if possible) as requested. Main cook leaves at 2pm, and you would provide a light dinner meal served between 3:30 and 4:30, clean up kitchen and dining room, and be on hand until relieved at 6pm.
Foodhandlers certification is required, but can be obtained through us. Familiarity with, and comfortable, working with senior citizens.
