Old Overton Golf Club is a well established private club, that is looking for qualified applicants in the food and beverage department.

We are currently accepting applications for Full Time as well as Part Time Servers.

Applicant must be able to work in a fast paced restaurant environment as well as keep busy during slow times, professional in appearance and behavior, personable, and be able to work nights and weekends. Also, applicants must be able to lift at least 20 lbs.

Applicant must also possess excellent communication skills.

General Purpose:

Meets and exceeds our members needs every time they come to the club, and strives to make every dining experience exceed all expectations.

Essential Duties:

Expected to be knowledgeable in all aspects of the club.

Responsible for keeping the dining rooms and buffets cleaned and organized.

Expected to be knowledgeable on weekly BEOs.

Must be seen at all times by the members without making them feel smothered.

Anticipates our members needs by observing them before, during, and after their meal.

Watches for likes and dislikes of food, completion of courses, or drinks.

Must be dressed in proper uniform according to the daily event(s).

Arrives 5 minutes before work in proper uniform.

Educated in Old Overton Clubs 8 Steps of Member Service.

Understands Old Overton Clubs 10 Steps for All Wine Service.

Possesses up-to date knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.

Has a grasp on proper wine pairings.

Understands their Day Shift responsibilities based on their Server Training Manual.

Understands their Night Shift responsibilities based on their Server Training Manual.

Knows our Sunday Brunch set up and service.

Recognizes and Performs daily Side Work.

Understands weekly menus.

Executes floor diagrams and seating charts for tableside service in the dining outlets.

Assists in creating a unique and exceptional experience for our members through a la carte service.

Participates in daily pre-shifts.

Required to serve meals or beverages to members and guests.
