A person that likes waking up with the birds and can manage pancakes and people. We want someone who will take charge of the restaurant while helping their staff reach their full potential, while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest every time.

The Highlights of a SuccessfulÂKitchen Manager:
- Must believe that butter and bacon make everything better!ÂÂ
- An energetic, can-do attitudeÂ
- Knowledge of service and food and beverage industry, generally involving at least 3 years of FOH/BOH operations and/or assistant managementÂ
- 2+ years in a similar role in a people leadership capacity managing 10+ direct reports.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the Slipper's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Fill in where needed (FOH/BOH) to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. Recognize and communicate with regular guests.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurants preventative maintenance programs.
- Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control procedures. Complete inventory counts when required.
