Location: Hoover
Onboarding: Vestavia Hills (Prior to your start on the 2nd all applicants MUST have all Onboarding documentation completed in during interviews in Vestavia Hills.)
Date: June 2nd
(2) Servers at 7 am - 5 pm
(9) Servers at 8 am - 6 pm
Dress Code: Servers will wear normal serving attire each day which includes Black pants, white button down shirt, black vest, black bow tie, black socks, and black slip-resistant shoes.
Job Description: Banquet Servers works as a member of the wait staff for food catering events and banquets. Duties include setting patron tables and buffet areas for service. During service, a Banquet Server accommodates all guests and is responsible for replenishing buffet food, refilling beverages, removing dirty dishes from tables and assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service.
Job Responsibilities:
Run food from the kitchen to the banquet hall on demand
Assist with food and table prep before the event begins
Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
Communicate with banquet supervisor as well as other servers and event organizers
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Open wine and take drink orders
Clean up the venue after the event ends and assist with inventory, food storage, and another closeout task
