We are currently searching for a Plumbing Designer with at least five (5) years of full-time experience. The Plumbing Designer will perform technical activities on assigned projects under supervision of the licensed professional engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
Designs and prepares drawings for plumbing systems for building projects.
Writes and edits plumbing system specifications for building projects.
Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions.
Conducts project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, owner expectations, and building codes.
Prepares punch lists, project observations reports, proposal requests (PR), supplemental instructions (SI) and requests for information (RFI).
Reviews project submittal documents
General Education and Experience:
2-year Technical Degree or Associates Degree in Engineering or related field
CPD preferred
Experience with AutoCad and Revit
Five Seven years of experience as plumbing designer
Design experience with healthcare, higher education or Central plant projects
