WoodSpring Suites Birmingham Bessemer is hosting a job fair to hire for TWO WoodSpring Suites Hotels!

Those hotels are: WoodSpring Suites Birmingham Bessemer and WoodSpring Suites Birmingham Pelham.

Position Summaries:

Guest Service Rep “ Part Time

Provides friendly and responsive front desk service to guests, while also ensuring that guest payments are collected and processed in a reliable and timely manner. Greets guests, assists them with check-ins and check-outs, registers and assigns rooms, issues room keys/cards, transmits and receives messages, keeps records of occupied rooms and guest accounts, makes and confirms reservations, presents statement to and collects payments from departing guests.

Ensures that all service provided is consistently prompt and courteous and designed to meet high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Cleans the lobby and public restroom; washes and folds laundry; and assists other staff in preparing check outs to be guest ready. Responds to any/all emergency situations (police, fire, emergency responder, weather, building “ electrical outage, water line breaks, etc.) in a timely manner.

Room Attendant “ Part Time

This part time job accepts responsibility to maintain hotel rooms in a guest ready state. They work closely with the general manager and the head room attendant to clean each room and public spaces to brand standards by following the detailed checklist and inspecting every room and public spaces ensuring guest readiness.

Room attendants perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks in the hotel, cleaning both guest rooms, public spaces, and at times performing the duties of the on-call overnight, or night Guest Service Representative I. Their work shift varies by day and week and depending upon business needs.

Night Guest Service Rep “ Part Time

Provides friendly and responsive front desk service to guests, while also ensuring that guest payments are collected and processed in a reliable and timely manner. Greets guests, assists them with check-ins and check-outs, registers and assigns rooms, issues room keys/cards, transmits and receives messages, keeps records of occupied rooms and guest accounts, makes and confirms reservations, presents statement to and collects payments from departing guests.

Ensures that all service provided is consistently prompt and courteous and designed to meet high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.

Cleans the lobby and public restroom; washes and folds laundry; and assists other staff in preparing check outs to be guest ready. Responds to any/all emergency situations (police, fire, emergency responder, weather, building “ electrical outage, water line breaks, etc.) in a timely manner. Night GSR must also work on-call shifts and respond to over-night calls. Night GSR is given a free on-site guest room to use at their convenience.
