DEC Fire & Water Restoration is a local, family-owned restoration and construction company, and we are currently looking for a full-time (8a-5p, Mon-Fri) receptionist.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- At least one year previous experience answering phones in an office setting.
- Must understand how to send and receive emails.
- Must know how to scan, save and email pdf files.
- Must have the ability to work well and get along with others in an office environment (please, no drama)
- Must have a pleasing phone voice.
The two main tasks of this position will be answering incoming calls and updating our customers on the progress of their jobs. We are a family owned construction company, and we currently service around 700 new jobs a year. These customers (along with the employees, vendors, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, etc.) keeps our phones ringing throughout the work day. We do not take this job lightly. You could be the FIRST voice a potential customer hears when they need our services, and that is important to us. Our receptionist office is setup with a phone, computer, scanner, desk, etc., and we generally try our best to provide our staff with whatever they need to make their jobs more productive and efficient.
