LA Wax Club division at Riverchase Car Wash is looking for hard-working and passionate men and women to join our LA Wax team in Hoover, AL. LA Wax Club is well-known for its outstanding exterior detail,Âpaint enhancement and correction, and restoration services for customers in 3 countries and multiple cities around the world.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
All trainees must go through mandatory 4-week Detail Training, which will cover the following:
- Waxing, Polishing, Buffing (using various polishers and by hand)Â
- Interior Detailing (shampooing, stain removing, etc.)
- Headlight Restoration
- Car Wash (tunnel operations, hand/foam, etc.)
- Quality Control
DUTIES (but not limited to):
- Polish, Buff, and/or Wax vehicles using polisher or by hand
- Wash the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions
- Restore dull, foggy headlight lenses
- Vacuum to remove dirt and debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, and use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces
- Shampoo carpet and upholstery using various tools and chemicals
- Apply interior dressing using machine applicators
- Clean and remove any grease on engines or engine compartments & more
LA Wax Club provides all training necessary for anyone to become a car detailer. However, it's up to you to learn, practice, and train relentlessly in order to find success in this field. In order to be eligible to graduate as a trainee, you must work for a minimum of 3 months and 240 working hours at one of our locations as a Car Detailer Trainee. All hours worked as a trainee is paid at $8/hour plus tips (because your training fee is being paid by the employer).
