COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Senior Claims Representative to join our Alabama team. This role will focus on providing a positive and satisfying claims experience for our clients through the proper investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of claims for personal lines and commercial lines business.

Position is based out of either Birmingham or Tuscaloosa, Alabama areas
This role investigates property/casualty claims mainly for residential housing. Determines liability, secures information, reviews coverage, performs property damage appraisals, and settles claims.
Responsibilities:
Investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims.
Initiates contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic formation, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process.
Completes physical inspections of damaged property, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.
