Attention EXPERIENCED Managers:
Automotive company is currently looking for an Area Manager to oversee the area around Birmingham, AL.
Overview:
To assist store managers in meeting financial objectives, OSHA compliance, positive performance, employee satisfaction, and customer satisfaction goals for the assigned district (multi-state travel position).
Responsibilities:
Work with management in the store locations on training, auditing, and coaching team members.
Perform regular company compliance audits reviewing repair and installation inspection sheets, vehicle logs, safety meeting sheets and other required administrative fields.
Conduct regular visits to all stores in district.
Oversee the financial, metric, employee satisfaction, and customer service performance of all repair locations.
To assist in the training office personnel using the AutoGlassNow standard operating procedures.
Oversee appropriate staffing of all store locations in the market to include recruiting and hiring per AutoGlassNow guidelines and team member discipline or termination if needed.
Accountable for sales and marketing initiatives including insurer and dealer marketing.
Facilitate monthly store meetings to discuss market related and organizational issues.
Provide written and verbal communication on a regular basis with Regional manager to ensure alignment of market goals for each store.
Communicate effectively with other members of the Management Team, Corporate office and company President
Assist with sales and job closing skills including but not limited to reviewing test calls, market shops, etc
Qualifications:
Management experience (2-5 yrs minimum)
Sales driven with retail sales background
Team player with positive energy
The ability to motivate individuals with varying personalities
Time Management and Organization skills
Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
Ability to use a variety of PC software and hardware
Ability to understand and interpret basic financial concepts, including but not limited to profit and loss statements, cash flow, expense reporting and payroll management Must be able to travel including overnight stays within district

Requirements:
Minimum 2 yrs experience in the auto glass industry
Valid drivers license
