Atlanta based Demolition Company has an immediate opening for an outgoing, self-motivated, Demolition Superintendent. Candidate must be adept in building construction and in construction plan comprehension. Successful applicant will have at least 10+ years’ experience in large structural demolition (multi story buildings’, manufacturing plants/mills, schools, hotels, etc.), selective demolition, and have vast knowledge of heavy equipment. Applicant must have the following: current driver’s license, reliable transportation, willing to travel through GA, TN, and AL as needed, capable of managing project, ability to meet tight deadlines, manage crews, enforce safety, direct subcontractors, and be able to detect and correct potential cost burdens to a project with little or no supervision. Knowledge of environmental restoration (asbestos, lead, chemicals, ash, etc.) will go hand in hand with this position. Candidate will be required to have basic computer skills such as but not limited to MS Word/Excel, Outlook etc. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a definite plus, but not a requirement.
