Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (AUUF) seeks a Director of Religious Exploration for 20 hours per week to develop and support programming for the fellowship’s children and youth religious exploration project; recruit and train volunteer teachers within the fellowship; recruit, train, and supervise paid support staff for the fellowship’s childcare program; and coordinate with the minister and lay leaders to support programming for all ages during our weekly Sunday services.
The successful candidate will have college degree in education, counseling, youth or family human services, or equivalent experience; ability and willingness to work as a member of a team; experience and willingness to work with a variety of people of differing ages, classes, races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, abilities, neurodiversities, and faith traditions; good time management skills; and the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and punctually. A knowledge of Unitarian Universalist traditions, beliefs, and practices is also desired.
