Cutting Edge Lawn Service, LLC has been serving the Auburn and Opelika communities since 2002. With 17+ years in the industry we have been able to set a standard of excellence that allows us to maintain long lasting relationships with our customers. It is always our intention to surpass their expectation and wow them. With that being said, we also pride ourselves on having team members and crew leaders that have been with us for 5+ years.
Over the last few years we have steadily grown and have developed a need for a new position. A person that would excel in this position would have the following characteristics:
Ability to accept responsibility for their own decisions and actions

Demonstrates initiative including the abilities to think, work, and make decisions based on sound judgment

Has good communications skills, oral and written, and will take responsibility in communicating with the superintendent

An ability to lead, cooperate, and motive others, as well as contribute as part of the daily team
In addition to the above characteristics the position would also include these job responsibilities:
The operation of miscellaneous construction equipment
Hardscape installation (patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, etc.)
General understanding of plant material in our local area
Correct planting procedures for small to medium shrubs, trees, and sod
Proper pruning technique
Basic knowledge of irrigation installation and service
Professional and customer satisfaction oriented - Responsible for meeting our customers expectations every time we serve them
Consistently achieve high work standards with attention to detail, accuracy, and timelines
Communicates with leadership about work performed so that invoicing is accurate and timely
Ensures your crew is prepared for your daily tasks including equipment, supplies, and materials
Communicates with leadership daily about job-related concerns, equipment and material needs
Assists in ordering and/or repairing items needed
Will provide feedback to leadership regarding individual crew member performance
Takes responsibility to listen , discuss, and solve challenges within your team
Responsible for the safety of your crew and equipment
Responsible for carrying out the daily tasks determined by the leadership team
This position will be responsible for working with the designer in scheduling and overseeing project logistics. They are also responsible for the setup, implementation, and completion of tasks assigned to their crew. This position requires that a person work in the field along with their crew and will include frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. This person should also be able to lift 50+ lbs. Previous experience in construction/landscaping installation is preferred but not required. Must have a clean driving record and a State issued drivers license.
