Looking to hire a dedicated, patient, and compassionate caregiver to provide personal care and support services to an elderly client. Availability needed on Saturdays from 7am - 7pm and Sundays from 7am - 7pm.
Qualifications:
CNA certification required. Two (2) years’ experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred. Must have reliable transportation and fulfill assignments with reliability. Must be genuinely concerned about helping people and have high moral standards of honesty and integrity.
Essential Functions:
-Provide various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of direct care
-Provide for the personal needs and comfort of people in their own homes.
-Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
-Preparing meals and special diets
-Performing light housekeeping activities
-Provide transportation assistance to and from activities
-Provide compassionate companionship to patients
-Medication and appointment reminders
-Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
The work requires moderate physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis, such as driving, assisting client in transfer activities and ambulation, and light housekeeping. Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear, reach, kneel, and crouch. Lifting up to 25 pounds is permitted and may be required.
