As we gear up for our second summer, Back Forty Beer Company Birmingham is looking to fill several positions at the only brewery in Birmingham with a full restaurant.
We are looking for people who are dedicated, have a love for craft beer, love working in a fun, team-oriented environment and who are willing to learn.
We have full and part-time positions available. Please send your resume and a cover letter(just a quick blurb about what you are looking for). We are looking to fill the following positions:
Marketing/Office Manager
Some of the typical tasks, but not limited to this list.
- Help with the ABC approvals
- Events
- Social Media
- Some additional Paperwork
- Be able to handle some floor duties when necessary.
- Ideal candidate will have restaurant and marketing experience.
Expediter
-You must have previous experience. This position is extremely important, and you have to be able to stay calm under pressure. Prefer at least 1 year of previous experience.
Assistant Brewer - Brewery Helper - Brewery Internship
- Entry level brewery position with plenty of growth potential.
- Some of the tasks include, cleaning the tanks, cleaning and filling kegs, maintaining organization in the keg cooler.
- Work with our brewmaster on brews.
Bartenders
- Assist customers, know the food and beer menus. Be able to help with proper beer selections for the guests.
Food Runners
- Help run the food to the table, clear tables, set up and close the restaurant.
Line Cooks
- Ability to produce the recipes consistently, work clean, be on time.
- Ability to stay organized and motivated to achieve the proper end goal.
Pizza Cooks
- Ideally, 1-year experience running a high temp wood style oven, but we are willing to train anyone with the dedication to learn this difficult station.
- Ability to produce the recipes consistently, work clean, be on time.

Dishwashers
