Position Overview:POSITION SUMMARY:Performs physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech-language pathology treatment within the Statepractice and other applicable regulatory requirements. Completes other department assigned support workduties.Principal AccountabilitiesAssures efficient management of work processes, by completing tasks and assignments by time standards.Outpatient office and patient care support.Prepares for therapeutic intervention.Treats patients using therapeutic procedures, modalities and or equipment as directed by a therapist (Therapeutic procedure, modality or equipment).Qualifications:MINIMUM POSITIONS REQUIREMENTSEducation/ Knowledge, including Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:CPR Certification.High school graduate or equivalent.Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.Experience:Previous aide work or volunteer experience in an outpatient rehabilitation therapy organization preferred.Skills:Requires critical thinking, problem solving, and use decisive judgment. Must be able to work in a demanding environment balancing multiple priorities and take appropriate actions. Computer use proficiency required. Must demonstrate ability to learn and master required job duties quickly.
