DescriptionAccountemps is seeking a Mortgage Processor for an open temporary to permanent opportunity in Auburn, MA.Responsibilities will include: Review mortgage applications received from originators for completeness and accuracy. Screen loan files for qualifications consistent with appropriate underwriting guidelines. Assist others in resolving problems and respond to questions related to residential loans. Review documentation for completeness and consistency with original information as indicated on the loan application. Coordinate and communicate loan information to appropriate parties. Perform credit and appraisal analysis for residential loan originations ensuring compliance with Bank, regulator and Investor criteria, for submission to investor and Bank’s board of Investment. Contact vendors or appropriate parties to check status of credit reports, appraisals, flood certification companies and attorneys. Input loans in a timely manner. Update information as received. Review files to ensure they close according to Purchase and Sales Agreement and Rate Lock expiration date. Review approved loan conditions with borrowers and ensures all conditions are satisfied before forwarding to the Closing Department for closing documentation. Prior to closing the loan review all HMDA information to ensure accuracy in the HMDA section of front end mortgage system. Responsible for sending the GFE, TIL, checking application dates, monitoring the pipeline ensure timely approval process, and updating disclosures when loan changes occur.Requirements
2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Processor
Encompass experience is a plus
