Casella Waste Systems, Inc. has opened a search for a Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice to join our facility located in Auburn, MA.We are willing to train the right candidate! Must be willing to learn to turn a wrench!Responsibilities & Duties:
Ability to trained on how to perform and inspect all maintenance shift production
Ability to be cross trained in equipment operations such as forklift, baler and pay loader
Education, Experience & Certifications:
Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics structural design and electrical skills are necessary
Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
Experience inspecting, trouble-shooting and maintenance is preferred
Qualifications & Skills:
Self-directed person
Safety first approach
Excellent communication and problem solving skills are required
