Adecco is assisting our Client in Auburn, ME to fill 9 Machine Shop Operator Positions. We have openings on 2 nd and 3 rd /8 hours shifts. All positions are temp to hire. Temp rate is $15.50 to start but your pay will increase to approximately $18 , or more, if you are considered for a permanent job. You will be working in a Large Machine Shop that makes electrical components. Responsibilities for a Machine Shop Operator:
Set-up, operate, monitor and troubleshoot on assigned machines.
Inspect parts to specifications.
Manufacture switches, circuit breakers and other electronic parts.
Requirements for a Machine Shop Operator:
Experience as a Machine Operator and/or Mechanically Inclined
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work at a fast pace and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift 40 lbs. as needed
Strong Verbal Communication Skills
Perform Housekeeping duties as needed.
