DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Your responsibilitiesThyssenKrupp Aerospace NA is looking for Industrial Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the branch with Lean related improvement projects. The incumbent will support in data gathering and analysis, process mapping, continuous improvement idea implementations and conducting cost benefit analyses. The position will primarily support the lean managers in their operational excellence principles deployment. To be considered for this Job, you MUST have Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment Broad understanding of manufacturing processes and the aerospace industry Current studies in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint Thorough understanding of Lean principles, 5S and the applications Good analytical skills Your profileYou'll be responsible for: Conduct time studies and analyze data for Value Added/Non Value Added Conduct cost benefit analyses for large capital improvement projects Support the branch Lean Manager in developing Value Stream Maps Support in the branch managers and Lean managers in the deployment of Lean principles Support in data gathering for Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Support rapid improvement events Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
