DescriptionOfficeTeam is partnering with a mid-sized construction company in the Auburn, WA area who is seeking a Project Assistant. This is a stable and growing firm with low employee turnover that has been in the area for over 20 years!General duties: Track all documents for timely signatures, Alert project managers if any subcontractor is on a job without a signed contract and proper certificates of insurance, Prepare correspondence as requested by project manager, Filing as needed for all documentsProject Completion: prepare warranty books and operation manuals for clients, prepare list of subcontractors with contact information for clients, process paper work for Certificate of OccupancyWarranty work: receive notice from clients, check validity of warranty request, consult with project manager, follow through with appropriate subcontractor until warranty work is completedBidding new construction projects: contact appropriate subcontractors as directed by the project manager, distribute drawings and specs (electronically), prepare notice of bid date, bid time, and other necessary information for the subcontractors, log-in bids as they are received and contact subs as necessary to get all bids in on timeRequirements-Similar experience as listed above is required in the construction industry.-Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook-Minimum of 3+ years experience as an Administrative Assistant-Experience with multi-line telephone system-Organizational Skills a mustOfficeTeam, a Robert Half Company, matches professionals in the administrative field on a temporary and temporary-to-full-time basis.
